	At the Town Council there are currently 6 paid officers headed by the Town Clerk. The Town Clerk and 2 groundsmen are full time employees with 2 Assistant Town Clerks and an Administrator working part time hours.

	Your Groundsmen are responsible for the day to day upkeep and maintenance of recreation grounds, Fairview Fields, the Millennium Woods, Saxons Rest, Bath Road Play Area, the Skate Park, the Cemetery, St Sampson’s and St Mary’s Churchyards and the town’s other open spaces. They also help with High Street enhancements, floral displays and keeping the town clean and tidy.
