Cricklade Community Awards 2016
Cricklade is renowned for its community spirit, so do you know of someone, or a group of people, who volunteers in the community and deserves to be recognised for all their hard work? Awards can also be given to recognise achievements, bravery and courage. The Town Council is seeking nominations for three categories of award:
Young Person of the Year
Cricklade Community Award
Community Group of the Year

Clean for The Queen
In association with Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Area Board, Cricklade Town Council are planning a litter picking event in the town in time for, and to celebrate, The Queen’s 90th Birthday.
Please come along and offer your support.
The litter pick will take place on
Saturday, 5th March from 10am - 12noon.
Equipment - bags, bin rings, litter pickers etc. - will be provided and refreshments will be served.
If you are able to help out, please meet at the Bath Road play area at
9.45am.

Photography Competition 2016
Cricklade Town Council would like to see what you have all been up to during 2016 when attending Cricklade Community Events. Please submit your photographs by 31st January 2017. Details of our competition, the rules and how to submit your entries can be found here.

Public Consultation on the Cost of Policing in 2016-2017
The Police and Crime Commissioner would like your input regarding the cost of policing in our area in 2016 - 2017. Please follow this link to complete the public consultation survey which runs until Tuesday, 2nd February 2016.

Bus Services Consultation
People are being invited to have their say on a review of subsidised bus services in Wiltshire. The survey is open until 4th April and can be completed here. Alternatively, hard copies of the survey are available at Cricklade Library.

Badger Excavations affecting part of the Old Railway Line between Cricklade and the River Thames

Cricklade Campus
Wiltshire Council is reviewing the status of the Campus programme in Wiltshire and Cllr John Thomson, the deputy leader of the Council, is carrying out this task.
The Town Council is urgently seeking clarification from Wiltshire Council on the possible implications for Cricklade, both at Stones Lane and Ockwells.
We will provide more information when it is available.

Neighbourhood Plan
The results are now in from the housing questionnaire that was distributed to all households before Christmas. To read the report click here.
